Attendance
Attendance is critical. Your child must be at school every day. Instruction begins at 7:30. Please send a written note to school if your child is absent.
Breakfast
Breakfast is free at Enota for all students. Your child should eat breakfast as soon as they arrive at school. Breakfast ends at 7:30 for all students unless they arrive on a late bus to school.
Questions and Conference Requests
Please call the school office with questions or to set up an appointment at 770-532-7711 only if you are unable to reach the teacher by writing a note in the agenda first.

STOMP ZONE:
In order to meet criteria for Stomp Zone, students must:
Effort: have an E or S Effort Grade on the Report Card, and no more than 3 incomplete assignments per 9 weeks in that semester.
Behavior: have an E or S Behavior Grade on the Report Card. Student should have no discipline referrals to the office (including no bus tickets) in that semester.
Attendance: have no more than 3 unexcused absences, and no more than 5 unexcused tardies in that semester.
Students have the opportunity to earn Stomp Zone twice during the year: by meeting criteria 1st semester and by meeting criteria 2nd semester. Since this information is being shared at Curriculum Night, we will start counting the above things tomorrow, August 26th. Infractions that happen before this date will not keep a child from earning Stomp Zone.

a. Charting behavior - Look for teacher notes here.
b. Spelling words -Spelling words are written on weekly page.
c. Parent folder and agenda communication- If your child goes home a new way or is absent, you may write it in the agenda.
d. Return the agenda to school every day!
5. Red Tuesday Folders=Communication
Look through the red folder each Tuesday and return the next day. Check for any papers that need to be signed and returned. Go through your child’s corrected papers and help your child practice any skills he/she has trouble with.
6. Homework Folder- Return blue folder on Fridays with completed work.
Reading
Your child should be reading for 20 minutes or more each night. The 20 minutes should be spent reading a book(s); including library books, books from home. Record and sign the reading log sheet in homework folder.
Spelling
Students will do spelling homework each night. These words focus on a grade level phonics skill. Have your child choose 4 activities from the monthly spelling sheet each week. If you know your child needs extra practice, feel free to practice more to ensure success on the phonics skill. Please turn in spelling to the teacher each week on Friday.
Math
Your child will know what they are supposed to do each night. Math homework is only for extra practice and is not meant to teach a new skill. Every sheet that comes home will be over things that the students have already seen in class.
